AND.... because the book pays for itself (then that value increases exponentially, the more you use it)!
Wrong Thought 4:
âYou canât make money before itâs finished or published.â
â REALITY Actually, if you call yourself the âForthcoming author of X,â that can help you get in front of new, potential clients before youâre even in print. Then you talk to folks, develop/deepen relationships, and invite them to become clients or strategic partners.
Wrong Thought 5:
âThe best books are chock full of facts and information.â
â REALITY The best books help people shift their ideas and beliefs (instead of burying them with too much information). They make your reader want to contact you.
Wrong Thought 6:
âYou need to sell at least 90,000 books to make 6 figures or more.â
â REALITY You donât need to sell any books! Because when you get your book into the hands of your ideal client, you can make an extra six figures from just one person saying yes to you. (Or two. Or 10. You get the picture.)
Wrong Thought 7:
âTraditional publishing is better.â
â REALITY If youâre a consultant, coach, solopreneur, speaker, or small business owner, 99% of the time it's NOT.
â Instead, you want author-controlled publishing or professional self-publishing.
â Because then YOU own YOUR intellectual property, plus you have more freedom to create the book you want on your terms.
